I’m your Photographer Cass Davies & I love to create fun Cake Smash photoshoots for your baby. Make use of our stunning outfits, decorations & colourful sets. Tailor your set to suit your home or a theme for your nursery. Cake Smash portraits are the perfect keepsake.
Lots of Mums & Dads love to come in on baby’s birthday morning as part of the days festivities & I’m honoured to share in that time creating memories. We will begin with beautiful portraits (why not get an up to date family image whilst you are here)? Go crazy with cake & clean up in a splash with our vintage bubble bath.

Whilst one of our most popular options is classic navy & gold (which works beautifully for boys & girls) I have a range of adorable themed backgrounds too, from dinosaurs to the Hundred Acre Wood. If you have an idea that matches your nursery or would look incredible on the walls in your home, I can quote for a bespoke set design for the perfect Cake Smash Taipei experience.
No Cake Smash Taipei would be complete without a beautiful cake to finish your set! I source your cake from a reputable local baker & even coordinate collection so you only need to worry about baby on the day!
Each package comes with an included cake option based on the level of intricacy in the design & I will plan with our baker the perfect matching icing. Want something even more fabulous? Ask about upgrading to a custom cake. Smash cakes are vanilla inside & taste amazing, using a cream cheese frosting so it’s not too sweet for delicate tummies. (There’s often some to take home too).

YOUR QUESTIONS
When should i book my cake smash?
Cake smash sessions should ideally be booked 6 weeks in advance in order for me to arrange the cake & order any custom backgrounds. Shorter availability for library backdrops may be possible subject to our bakers availability.
WHat's included in the session fee?
Included in the price of your photoshoot is your theme & decorations, option to choose one of our outfits, your cake from our expert baker & a private ordering gallery, Images are not included in the session fee. I will advise when the balance of your chosen package is due. Grandparents are most welcome to join you to choose your portraits at your optional In Person Viewing. I can guide you through all of the options with no hard sell guaranteed, together we can create the perfect look for your home. *Grandparents or aditional adults at the session are strongly discouraged as a distraction to baby.
Where do the shoots take place?
Smash cake sessions will take place in my home space in Shipai, easily accessed by MRT or road.
Can we use our own cake?
We highly recommend you use our professionally made cakes as our baker knows exactly what is needed for a good cake smash shoot. You even get to take the rest home!
Should you still wish to provide your own cake you will be required to sign an agreement that your chosen cakes’ icing contains only pure butter – vegetable fats stain our specialist backdrop system & replacements will be invoiced at £200gbp per length.
Can you cater for allergies?
Yes of course, our baker can advise what is possible for your specific needs. I can also guide you to choosing your own allergy friendly cake to bring and I will suggest alternative smash options for a great safe session.
